Under the direction of Dr. Robert Flanigan, the Department of Urology at Loyola University Medical Center has become a leader in providing exceptional education for residents and fellows. As a physician who trained under him, you experienced first-hand his passion for our field and his commitment to training the next generation of urologists. As he retires, it is my goal to continue this legacy of enhancing the educational opportunities for our trainees. You will be invited soon to his festschrift on the Loyola Medicine campus March 28, 2020.
In honor of Dr. Flanigan's innumerable contributions, we hope to raise $250,000 to establish the Robert C. Flanigan, MD Urology Resident Education and Support Endowment Fund. Restricted to initiatives that support the education, resiliency and wellness of residents and fellows within the department of urology, including educational programs, conference attendance, research initiatives and wellness programs. (CLUC)
As a resident alumnus or friend of our program, I invite you to join me in honoring Dr. Flanigan by making a contribution to help us launch this fund. Your gift will have a lasting impact on the future physicians we train and, in turn, the countless lives touched by their care.
Please consider making a gift today. Thank you very much for considering this opportunity.
